KARIN GRACEY IS SAVING THE LIVES OF HORSES

UPDATE TO A STORY WE FIRST BROUGHT YOU IN EARLY 2022

We’d like to introduce you to someone we consider to be a real-life superhero, Karin Gracey.

Karin has dedicated much of her life to helping thoroughbreds and has saved many from the slaughter pipeline.

Early in 2022, we reported that Karin worked full-time with thoroughbreds including working as a rider at a racetrack and that…

Karin lost a long-time job at a track for reporting horse welfare issues to authorities. (We told you she was a real-life superhero!)

Thankfully – August of 2023 –  she has recently secured a job at a different track – which will require her to relocate her herd.

In the meantime, she’s accumulated debt due to – through no fault of her own –  health issues within her herd and she’s going to have expenses as she moves her herd to a new location.

Again, over the last 2 plus decades, Karin has helped save many horses from being shipped to slaughter for human consumption but now she needs help to continue the work she is so passionate about…

Please help us help Karin as she relocates the

19 RESCUED HORSES IN HER CARE

THANK YOU in advance for helping Karin Gracey continue with the important rescue work she is doing.

Every dollar helps – even the cost of a cup of coffee will be greatly appreciated and put to good use.

#MOHM NEEDS YOUR HELP!

We’ve been threatened by those in the horse racing industry and those who benefit from horse slaughter more times than we can count.

But we are not going away.

We are going to persist until horse slaughter no longer exists for any purpose within Australia -- and until the horse racing industry makes drastic changes.

We are going to continue our hands-on work to offer lifelong sanctuary to as many horses as possible.  We generally have 20 at just one of our locations - at any given time.

We have the acreage to take on more horses as financial support allows.

You do NOT need a PayPal account to contribute.
