Many of our pages and blog posts state that that they do not contain graphic or potentially disturbing images or videos. THIS BLOG POST HAS DISTURBING and GRAPHIC VIDEOS.

BUT the disturbing images of dead Brumbies shot from helicopters serve a difficult and important purpose.

Here’s why seeing and sharing them can be crucial:

First it raises awareness.

These images bring brutal reality to the forefront, exposing the plight of Brumbies. Sharing them can spark public outrage and ignite a conversation about more humane management practices.

Second viewing and sharing them can fuel action.

Seeing the suffering can move people to take action. Sharing these images can galvanize support for legislative changes and the continuing plea by advocates for non-lethal alternatives to aerial culling.

The following Facebook posts and videos are from an amazing Facebook Page that features over a decade of documenting Brumbies by SNOWY BRUMBY PHOTOGRAPHY ADVENTURES WITH MICHELLE AND IAN.

The page does NOT just have photos that are graphic – it has hundreds. if not thousands. of visually stunning pictures of Brumbies.  It’s a page that is definitely worth following and sharing.

Join us in calling on the government of New South Wales, Australia to stop shooting down Brumbies from helicopters and to instead use humane, non-lethal, alternatives.
